CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Friday (March 6) Virginia-Pitt baseball game has been postponed because of inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Saturday (March 7) at Davenport Field. The earliest the first game of the doubleheader will begin is 1 p.m. on Saturday; there will be 45 minutes between games of the doubleheader. The start time for the Saturday doubleheader will be finalized on Friday afternoon after further review of the field conditions.

Tickets for the Friday game will be accepted for game two of the Saturday doubleheader. Fans with tickets for the Friday game that cannot attend the second game Saturday may exchange their tickets in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular-season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or bring their tickets to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular-season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.

The teams are slated to play the 1 p.m. Sunday game as originally scheduled.

Parking will be available in the University Hall, McCue and John Paul Jones Arena lots all weekend.

Gates at Davenport Field will open one hour prior to first pitch.

Season tickets, 10-game mini-packages, and single-game tickets for the 2015 Virginia baseball season are on sale at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office. Customers may purchase tickets by logging on to VirginiaSports.com, calling (800) 542-UVA1 or by visiting the ticket office in Bryant Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Tickets will also be sold at the Davenport Field ticket windows beginning one hour prior to each home game.
