CHARLOTTESVILLE – The University of Virginia is ranked ninth in the latest men’s program of the year rankings announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The rankings highlight the top teams over the course of the year in the three aspects of a program (cross country, indoor track and field, outdoor track and field).

Virginia is one of six schools to finish in the top 25 of both men’s cross country and indoor track and field this year. The Cavaliers followed a 21st place finish in cross country with a 23rd place finish in the indoor track and field championships. Virginia is the highest ranked ACC program.
