Greensboro, N.C. – The 12th-ranked Virginia women’s golf team shares the lead at the 18th annual Bryan National Collegiate tournament after Saturday’s second round of play. The Cavaliers shot 14-over 302 during the second round for a two-day total of 14-over 599. Wake Forest is tied with the Cavaliers at the top of the leaderboard. Auburn is in third place at 604.

UVa senior Briana Mao (Folsom, Calif.) moved into first place after the second round. She shot 2-over 74 and enters Sunday’s final day of competition at 2-over 144, one stroke ahead of Vanderbilt’s Jenny Hahn.

Sophomore Lauren Diaz-Yi (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) is in 17th place at 7-over 151 after posting a second-round score of 77. Freshman Lyberty Anderson (Chesterfield, Va.) improved to 24th place at 152 after shooting 75 on Saturday. Senior Lauren Coughlin (Chesapeake, Va.) is in 32nd place at 154 and junior Elizabeth Szokol (Winnetka, Ill.) is 59th at 159. Coughlin shot 76 during the second round while Szokol posted a score of 83.

Sarah Kolodzik (Bellbrook, Ohio), competing as a non-scoring individual, is in 71st place with at 161.

Virginia, 13th-ranked Wake Forest and Auburn will be paired for the third round, which features an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring is online at Golfstat.com.
