CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia baseball team returns home Wednesday to start a six-game homestand, which encompasses an eight-day span. The Cavaliers take on William and Mary at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Davenport Field.

Virginia-William & Mary Series
Virginia holds a 72-29-2 advantage in its series with William & Mary. The Cavaliers have captured eight straight meetings since the Tribe won 6-5 on April 23, 2008, in Charlottesville. UVa downed the Tribe twice last season (17-2 in Williamsburg, 11-2 in Charlottesville).

Noting William & Mary
William and Mary is 15-18 (6-6 CAA) after an 11-9 home win over Old Dominion Tuesday night. After recording four hits Tuesday, Charley Gould leads the team in batting (.387), hits (48), home runs (10) and RBI (39).
