No. 4 Virginia Competes in Clemson Invitational This Weekend

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.–The No. 4 Virginia rowing team travels to Clemson, S.C., this weekend (April 18-19) for the Clemson Invitational on Lake Hartwell. The Cavaliers will be one of 21 schools competing.
Racing will take place in three sessions over Saturday and Sunday. The action is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. each day as well as 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Virginia will have five crews racing this weekend, including the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Third Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four.
Over the course of the weekend, the Cavaliers will take on top-ranked Ohio State, No. 10 Washington State, No. 12 Indiana, No. 14 Texas, No. 15 Harvard-Radcliffe, No. 16 UCLA, No. 18 Oregon State, No. 19 Gonzaga and No. 20 Minnesota.
Next up, the Virginia Varsity Eight will travel out to Seattle, Wash., May 2 to compete for the Windermere Cup against No. 5 Washington as part of the city’s Opening Day Regatta.
