Diaz-Yi Earns All-America Honors from Golfweek

Charlottesville, Va. – Virginia sophomore Lauren Diaz-Yi (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) has been named a third-team All-American by Golfweek.

Diaz-Yi finished 30th in the publication’s final rankings. An All-ACC selection, she won two tournaments during the season and helped Virginia to its first ACC Championship. She led the team with a 73.21 stroke average. Earlier this year she was named an honorable mention All-American by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.

The Virginia women’s golf team tied for 20th at the NCAA Championships this year.
