Virginia Welcomes In-State Foe William & Mary to Scott Stadium
• Saturday is Youth Day at Scott Stadium as UVa welcomes the William & Mary Tribe to Charlottesville for the third time in seven seasons, renewing an in-state rivalry that dates back to 1908. The first 5,000 kids in the eighth grade and under will receive a free Virginia drawstring backpack upon entry.

Virginia vs. William & Mary
• UVa leads the all-time series with William & Mary, 27-6-1.
• The Cavaliers won the last meeting, 40-3, in 2011 at Scott Stadium.
• In games played in Charlottesville, Virginia has a 21-4 advantage.
• William & Mary’s last win in the series came in 2009, a 26-14 victory at Scott Stadium.
• The Cavaliers own a 57-9-3 record against current members of the CAA.

Virginia to Wear Throwback Uniforms on Saturday
• UVa will wear a throwback uniform on Saturday when William & Mary comes to Scott Stadium.
• The Cavaliers will once again don the throwback uniform ensemble they wore in 2012 against
Louisiana Tech and in 2014 against Kent State.
• The Nike uniform is modeled after the style UVa wore from the era that encompassed the 1967-74 seasons.

Nothing Cavalier about UVa’s September Schedule
• With September games against UCLA, Notre Dame and Boise State, UVa is the only program in the nation that will play three nationally ranked opponents this month from the Associated Press’ preseason poll.
• UCLA entered the season No. 13, while Notre Dame came in at No. 11 and Boise State at No. 23.
• UVa’s schedule pits the Cavaliers against Notre Dame and Boise State at Scott Stadium in 2015 where the
Cavaliers are 4-6 all-time under head coach Mike London against ranked teams in Charlottesville.

Virginia-William & Mary connections
• UVa head coach Mike London’s first full-time job was coaching the defensive line at William & Mary (1991-94) under current Tribe head coach Jimmye Laycock.
• During his tenure with the Tribe, London met his wife Regina at a Williamsburg, Va., bank while depositing a paycheck from William & Mary.
• UVa offensive line coach Dave Borbely worked at Notre Dame with William & Mary offensive coordinator Kevin Rogers from 1999-2001.
• William & Mary defensive line coach Kevin Lewis spent the 2009 season on the Richmond staff under current UVa head coach Mike London in London’s final season with the Spiders.

Head Coach Mike London vs. William & Mary, CAA
• Mike London is 3-0 all-time vs. William & Mary, with two wins coming while he was the head coach at Richmond.
• Both of London’s Richmond wins were by three points – 23-20 (OT) in 2008 and 13-10 in 2009.
• London’s last game against William & Mary was UVa’s 2011 season opener, which was a comfortable 40-3 triumph.
• London is 17-3 all-time vs. the CAA and 9-3 all-time against FCS ranked CAA foes.
