CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — 2016 Virginia baseball season tickets go on sale Monday (Oct. 12). Fans may purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. for in-person or telephone purchases. Telephone purchases can be made by calling 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821) or locally at 434-924-UVA1 (8821).
Season tickets are available for fans to purchase in the reserved bleacher sections H through L in left field as well as general admission areas of Davenport Field. Season tickets are $125 for reserved bleacher seats and $100 for general admission areas. Youth, Senior Citizens and UVA Faculty and Staff receive a $25 discount off full season ticket prices.
Fans who held 2015 Virginia baseball season tickets should expect to receive their electronic application by email on Oct. 12 and a paper application in the mail the week of Oct. 12. Fans may renew their 2015 season tickets online by logging into their individual ticket account at VirginiaSports.com/tickets beginning Oct. 12. The priority ordering deadline is Friday, Nov. 20.
There is a $150 per seat donation requirement to the Virginia Athletics Foundation for all reserved blue chairback seats (sections 101-109). The per seat contribution program, which was introduced prior to last season, provides revenue for specific initiatives to support the baseball program on an annual basis and is due at the time of purchase.
A three-month payment plan is available to fans who purchase season tickets by the priority-ordering deadline. New this year for baseball is the auto renewal program, which allows patrons to renew year by year without receiving a renewal form. Auto renewals are available in a five-month payment plan (November through March) or one-time payment (November) if the season tickets are renewed by Oct. 30. The payment plan does not apply to the per seat donation.
