CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia rowing team travels to Princeton, N.J., to compete in the Princeton Chase on Sunday (Nov. 1) on Lake Carnegie.

The Cavaliers will have five boats competing in Varsity Eights race, which is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

The Princeton Chase is a headrace competed along a 2.75-mile course on Lake Carnegie and features many of the top collegiate programs on the East Coast.

The Cavaliers placed second in the Varsity Eights race at the 2014 Princeton Chase after taking home top honors in 2013.

At the Head of the Charles on Oct. 18 in Boston, the UVA Varsity Four placed second among collegiate boats in the Championship Fours and the Varsity Eight was the third collegiate boat in the Championship Eights.

Virginia concludes its fall season by hosting the Rivanna Romp on the Rivanna Reservoir in Earlysville, Va., on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 9 a.m.
