#UVAWBB Opens Home Slate with a Bang
The Cavalier women’s basketball team delighted the home fans with an explosive performance on Monday night, earning an 86-50 victory over Norfolk State. Seven different Cavaliers scored in double digits and every available player contributed in what was decidedly a full-team effort. Check out the highlights above.

In his post-game analysis, VirginiaSports.com’s Jeff White analyzes what went wrong in last night’s tough road test at George Washington. Virginia guard Malcolm Brogdon tells White, “I think we have a lot of experience. I don’t think it was the atmosphere that got to us. I think it was our defense. #UVA Makes it 35-Straight #D1MSOC
On Monday afternoon, the 48-team field was announced for the 2015 NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship. When the reigning NCAA Champion Cavaliers host Rider this Thursday at Klockner, it will be the 35th-straight year the Cavaliers have played in the tournament, the longest streak in the nation. Additionally, Virginia has hosted at least one match each year during the streak. #Impressive
