Virginia Unveils Website Redesign

Charlottesville, Va. – The Virginia athletics department unveiled its newly redesigned website on Wednesday (Nov. 18), through its partnership with CBS Interactive. The new VirginiaSports.com features a responsive web design that provides an optimal viewing and interaction experience across a wide range of devices from desktop computers to tables and mobile phones.

The site adapts the layout to the viewing environment by using proportion-based grids and flexible images based on characteristics of the device the site is being display on, most commonly the width of the browser.

The site is home to all information Virginia fans need, including schedules, rosters, statistics, news and live stats and video/audio feeds of Cavalier events.

Additional navigation buttons, links and tabs make it easier for finds to find the information fans are looking for regarding their favorite UVA athletics teams.
