#EducationDay #FieldTripDay

Whether you prefer to call it #EducationDay or #FieldTripDay, John Paul Jones was rockin’ because of it on Tuesday morning. The third-largest home crowd in #UVAWBB history was comprised mainly of students from 40 area middle and elementary schools. Not only was the arena rockin’, so was social media. There were fantastic tweets from yesterday’s game, including a phenomenal Dance Cam gif, the winning poster in the poster contest and so many more, but this one right here probably sums it all up the best.  Thanks again to everyone who made this a great day, and a great win!

#UVAToday: Being Thomas Jones

This morning, #UVAToday posted an article on #UVAFootball alum Thomas Jones. The article was initially published in August, but it’s a great piece that they chose to repost as part of their year-end retrospective. After graduating in 1999 as the Cavaliers’ all-time leading rusher, Jones had a 12-year NFL career. Nowadays, however, he has a thriving acting career, starring in the BET series “Being Mary Jane” as well as running two businesses. Read the whole article here.
