Fathers and Sons
Virginia head coach Tony Bennett and his father, Dick Bennett, were featured in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Top 5 Father-Son Duo’s. Dick coached Tony at Green Bay from 1988-92 where the Fighting Phoenix advanced to the 1991 NCAA Tournament. Tony is still the NCAA leader in career 3-point percentage at 49.7 percent.
