@UVA_Track Records Keep Falling

Another week, another @UVA_Track record (two actually) shattered during the indoor season. Filip Mihaljevic broke the ACC and school record en route to winning the shot put with a throw of 20.69m (67′ 10.75″), which ranks first in the country this season. The throw, which beat his previous school record by 3′ 5.25″, is also an Olympic-standard mark. Click here to watch this Twitter vid and hear from Mihaljevic himself.

Let it Snow

Obviously, the biggest story of the weekend was the epic snowfall in Charlottesville. There were a lot of great photos and videos of people enjoying the snow, but there were two stories that we love of ‘Hoos stepping up. In this piece from today’s Daily Progress, Andrew Ramspacher tells the story of the football staff helping to dig out fellow Charlottesville residents.

This one below from the #UVAWBB Facebook page, however, might be our favorite. These are some very dedicated ‘Hoos.
