• The UVA-Wake Forest game is part of the Coaches vs. Cancer Suits And Sneakers Week and Princess Lacey’s Laces, celebrated Jan. 25-31.
• The UVA and Wake Forest coaching staff will wear sneakers with their suits during the game to raise cancer awareness.
• Specially-designed ‘Princess Lacey’s Laces’ will provide an additional opportunity to raise awareness, while honoring Lacey and further amplifying the need to continue raising funds for pediatric cancer.
• The Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers initiative honors Lacey Holsworth and her love of basketball. Through the promotion and purchase of these special laces, her memory will live on with the hope that one day, pediatric cancer will no longer claim the lives of those we love.
