The action begins with the first day of the heptathlon on Thursday at noon. Friday’s action starts with the combined events at 11 a.m. and the rest of the action at 5 p.m. On Saturday, field events are slated for an 11 a.m. start and track events are scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Live results will be available at VirginiaSports.com.

The Cavaliers will be competing mostly in sprint and field events, including sophomore Bridget Guy (Greensburg, Pa.), who will look to break her own school record in the pole vault, which she set in Blacksburg, Va., in January.

Last week at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational in Boston, junior Henry Wynne (Westport, Conn.) became the third Cavalier to break four minutes in the mile, finishing in a time of 3:58.74 that ranks fourth in the country. Junior Zach Herriott (Kansas City, Mo.) won the 5,000 meters in a time of 13:57.60, which ranks third on UVA’s all-time list.

Next week, the Cavaliers travel to Staten Island, N.Y., for the Fastrack National Qualifier Invite on Friday (Feb. 12).
