CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Charlottesville area from Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. through Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. The forecast calls for snow accumulation of 4-6″ and around .25″ of ice from freezing rain. The Virginia men’s basketball team hosts NC State at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15 (TV: ESPN). The Atlantic Coast Conference determines when games are played, including changes to schedules. The primary focus of the ACC’s game management protocol is to ensure the teams and officials are in a position to play and administer the game.

The Virginia men’s tennis team plays North Carolina in the final of the ITA National Team Indoor Championships at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 15. The match will start at its scheduled time.

The Virginia women’s tennis team’s match against Alabama has been postponed due to travel issues caused by the weather. The men’s match is scheduled to be held at the Boyd Tinsley Courts at Boar’s Head Sports Club as planned.

• Fans are advised to use extreme caution and safety and allow for extra time if you travel to John Paul Jones Arena for tonight’s game.
• Roads throughout the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County are snow-packed and slippery.
• Fans should be aware of both pedestrian and vehicular traffic around JPJ Arena.
• Parking lots and sidewalks around JPJ Arena have been cleared of snow, but they are expected to be slippery.
• The fan shuttles from North Grounds will not be in operation for tonight’s game.
• Free parking for tonight’s game is available in the Emmet/Ivy and Culbreth Road parking garages.
• Concession stands may not be in full operation during tonight’s game.
