@UVA_Track Alum Eggleston Places 13th at U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon
Congrats to Cavalier track and field alum Jeff Eggleston on finishing 13th at U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon. The Hoos had five other competitors including Jeanne Composti, Anna Corrigan, Emily Harrison, Sean Keveren and Rachel Ward, who was the women’s leader at mile seven. Full results can be found here.

Former Virginia All-American and current Dallas Mavericks guard Justin Anderson attended last night’s game vs. NC State. Anderson starred at Virginia from 2013-15, helping the Cavaliers to a pair of ACC regular-season titles and one ACC Tournament title. In addition, Anderson and the Cavaliers played in a pair of NCAA Tournaments and made one NIT appearance.

The defending national-champion Virginia baseball team opens the season this Friday, taking on Kent State in Myrtle Beach.
