Swimming World’s “The Week That Was”

Every week Swimming World highlights the biggest stories in the world of swimming and this week they highlighted Virginia swimmer Leah Smith after she broke two NCAA records at the ACC Championships. En route to winning the 1,650-yard freestyle in an NCAA-record time of 15:25.30, Smith also set a new NCAA record in the 1,000 free after finishing the first 40 laps of the mile in 9:20.15 Check out Swimming World’s full “The Week That Was” here.

#USAFH Junior National Team

There was little doubt that 2015 NFHCA National Player of the Year Tara Vittese would make the cut and earn a spot on the U.S. U-21 team that will be competing at the Junior Women’s Pan American Championship in Tacarigua, Trinidad & Tobago from March 30 – April 10, 2016, but this tweet announcing the roster (with Vittese prominently featured in the photo) eliminated even the smallest of doubts.
