CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 18 Virginia (5-3, 2-0 ACC) women’s tennis team will play a pair of matches on Sunday, hosting ACC foe Louisville and non-conference opponent Norfolk State at the Snyder Tennis Center.

The Cavaliers will face Louisville at 11 a.m. before playing Norfolk State at 4 p.m. All matches are free to the public. It will be Sunday Sundae at the match as there will be free ice cream for fans at the matches.

The Cavaliers face Louisville in the first match of the day and are coming into the match with a 2-0 mark in ACC play after picking up road wins at Boston College and Syracuse. It marks the first conference home match of the season for Virginia.

Virginia will play a second match on the day, stepping out of conference play in the afternoon to take on the Spartans of Norfolk State, also at the Snyder Tennis Center.

Leading the way for the Cavaliers is a trio of seniors who have been playing the top three spots in the lineup for most of the spring.

Danielle Collins (St. Petersburg, Fla.) leads the way for the Cavaliers and is ranked No. 3 nationally in singles in the latest ITA Rankings. Julia Elbaba (Oyster Bay, N.Y.), who is ranked No. 18 in singles, and Stephanie Nauta (Galveston, Texas), who is ranked No. 69 in singles, also serve as captains for the Cavaliers.

Virginia also puts a nationally-ranked doubles team on the court with Collins pairing with freshman Meghan Kelley. The duo is ranked No. 23 in doubles.
