CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Cavaliers host a top-10 non-conference showdown on Saturday as No. 10 Virginia (8-4) hosts No. 6 Michigan (7-3) at the Snyder Tennis Center at 12 p.m.

The Cavaliers are coming off a split weekend, dropping a tight 4-3 decision to No. 3 North Carolina before posting a 7-0 victory over No. 19 Clemson. Michigan is entering the weekend coming off a 4-3 loss at Texas.

Virginia is led by a trio of senior captains, including No. 4 Danielle Collins (St. Petersburg, Fla.), No. 13 Julia Elbaba (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) and No. 83 Stephanie Nauta (Galveston, Texas). Collins and Elbaba are both 8-1 on the season in singles play, while Nauta is 7-4.

Virginia also has a nationally-ranked doubles team with the pairing of Collins and Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Me.) ranked No. 25 in the latest ITA rankings.

Michigan has three nationally-ranked singles players, led by No. 14 Brienne Minor. Also ranked are No. 18 Ronit Yurovsky and No. 118 Kate Fahey. The Wolverines also have a nationally-ranked doubles team with Minor pairing with Mira Ruder-Hook for the No. 11 team in the nation.
