CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The No. 10 Virginia baseball team returns home from a successful weekend to start a six-game homestand this week. Virginia starts the home stretch with a two-game midweek series on Tuesday and Wednesday against Towson. First pitch for both games is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Davenport Field.

Tickets/Parking
Tickets may be purchased here or at the gate. Parking is available in the University Hall, McCue Center or John Paul Jones Arena lots. Gates open one hour prior to first pitch.

Promotions
The Tuesday matchup is a $2 Tuesday ($2 Hoo Dogs and 22 oz. Pepsi products). The second game of the series marks the second Rewind Wednesday of the season — 80s Night at Davenport Field, featuring 80s music throughout the game including walkups and feature clips from popular 80s movies. The team will also be wearing their retro uniforms for the game.

• Ernie Clement owns hits in 15 of UVA’s 16 games.
• Since an 0-for-12 start, Ryan Karstetter is 13-for-28 (.464) with six RBI. He was 5-for-11 in the Duke series.
• UVA has scored at least four runs in 14 of its 16 games this season.
• 77 of UVA’s 184 hits have come with two outs (41.8 percent).
• With its series win at Duke, UVA opened ACC play with a series win for the eighth straight season.

Virginia-Towson Series
Virginia holds a 17-2 edge in its all-time series with Towson and has won 12 straight games against the Tigers. Towson last defeated UVA on April 2, 2008, winning 7-6 at Davenport Field. All 19 games in the series have been contested in Charlottesville.

Noting Towson
Towson holds a 3-10 record after dropping two of three games at Norfolk State last weekend. All but one of the Tigers’ games have come away from home. Brady Policelli leads the team with a .347 batting average and is tied for tops on the team in hits with Richie Palacios with 17. Colin Dyer is the team leader in home runs (2) and RBI (10).

Up Next
Virginia takes on Wake Forest in a three-game ACC series Friday through Sunday (March 18-20). The teams open the series at 5 p.m. Friday and also play at 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
