The No. 4 Virginia rowing team hosts Yale in a regatta on Saturday (March 19) on the Rivanna Reservoir in Earlysville, Va. First race is set for 4 p.m.

Action begins with the Third Varsity Four, followed by Second Varsity Four, Varsity Four, Second Varsity Eight and Varsity Eight. Admission is free to the public. Free parking and viewing for the 2,000-meter course is available at Cornerstone Community Church in Earlysville.

Virginia won 17 of 18 races last weekend at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational on Lake Melton in Oak Ridge, Tenn. The Varsity Eight captured ACC Crew of the Week by posting three wins. The Virginia First Varsity Eight is composed of Colette Lucas-Conwell (Palo Alto, Calif.), Mackenzi Sherman (Los Alamitos, Calif.), Tessa Dikkers (Pelham, N.Y.), Georgia Ratcliff (Falls Church, Va.), Eliza Spilsbury (Centreville, Mass.), Erin Briggs (Orono, Minn.), Heidi Long (Buckinghamshire, England), Alice Darry (West Melton, New Zealand) and Sam Casto (Dallas, Pa.). Maxime Lubbers (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) was the four-seat for UVA last Sunday.

Virginia returns to action at Ohio State on Saturday, April 2. The Cavaliers will compete against Michigan and the host Buckeyes in the regatta.
