CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 12 Virginia (10-6, 5-2 ACC) women’s tennis team continues to play on the road this weekend with a swing through the Sunshine State, beginning at No. 6 Miami (10-4, 5-2 ACC) at 1 p.m. on Friday.

The Cavaliers continue a road trip spanning five matches after playing three on the road last weekend. Virginia is looking to jump back into the win column after dropping a tight contest on the road last Sunday at No. 29 Wake Forest. Miami enters the weekend on a six-match win streak.

Virginia features four players ranked in the latest ITA singles rankings. Leading the way are seniors Danielle Collins (St. Petersburg, Fla.) at No. 4 and Julia Elbaba (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) at No. 16. Senior Skylar Morton (Bethesda, Md.) is ranked No. 90, while Stephanie Nauta (Galveston, Texas) is ranked No. 111 in the poll.

In doubles, the Cavaliers feature a nationally-ranked doubles team with Collins and freshman Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Me.) ranked No. 21.

The Hurricanes also have Stephanie Wagner ranked No. 5 and Sinead Lohan ranked No. 6 by the ITA. Yolimar Ogando is ranked No. 34 in the nation, while Wendy Zhang is ranked No. 109.

Miami also has a ranked doubles teams with Wagner and Zhang ranked No. 9 in the ITA rankings.

Virginia will close out the weekend with a match at Florida State on Sunday.
