#UVAMTennis senior Ryan Shane spent his day on Monday in Washington, D.C., more specifically at the White House as part of the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. Shane was part of the USTA contingent that manned the tennis courts, teaching tennis fundamentals to some of the egg hunters as part of the First Ladies’ #Let’sMove initiative. As @noshameshane’s Instagram shows (below), he met not only President Obama but also played hoops with Shaq.

Incoming men’s basketball recruit Kyle Guy competed in the slam dunk and 3-point competitions at the Powerade Jam Fest at the Chicago Theater in Chicago. Guy made the finals in the dunk contest and finished second in the 3-point contest. Guy will be the first UVA player since 2008 to compete in the McDonald’s High School All-American on Wednesday.
