CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-The UVA women’s track and field team and the No. 5 Virginia men are set to compete at the Florida Relays Thursday through Saturday (March 31-April 2) at Pressly Stadium in Gainesville, Fla.

The action for the Cavaliers is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday, noon on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Live results will be available at VirginiaSports.com. SEC Network+ (via Watch ESPN) will stream the meet online from 12-4:30 p.m. on Friday and from 2:30 p.m. to the conclusion of the meet on Saturday.

The Cavalier men are ranked No. 8 in the latest USTFCCCA national rankings, tied for their highest rank ever, and are tabbed No. 5 in the inaugural FloTrack national poll.

Several Cavaliers will make their outdoor season debuts, including senior Peyton Chaney (Belleville, Ill.), who scored in two sprint events at the ACC Indoor Championships and junior Henry Wynne (Westport, Conn.), who won the NCAA title in the men’s mile at the national indoor meet. One Cavalier, graduate student William Gray (Birmingham, England), will make his UVA debut in the 3,000-meter steeplechase Friday evening.

Next up, the Cavaliers will host two meets at Lannigan Field with the UVA Quad against Columbia, Maryland and Penn on Friday, April 8 at 6 p.m. and the Lou Onesty/Milton G Abramson Invitational on Saturday, April 9 at 2 p.m. Admission to both meets is free to the public.
