Armed with an iPad and pictures of both MLB relief pitchers and dudes in bands, Yahoo sports’ Mike Oz stopped baseball fans at various spring-training parks and asked if they could tell the if the person featured was an MLB relief pitcher or a dude in a band. Not shocking that former UVA pitcher Sean Doolittle (@whatwouldDOOdo) was one of the challenges.

#UVAFH sophomore and 2015 NFHCA National Player of the Year Tara Vittese currently in Trinidad & Tobago, competing with the U.S. Junior National Team at the Junior Women’s Pan American Championship. Vittese contributed a goal in the U.S.’s 10-0 opening rout of the host nation. The tournament runs through March 9.

The #Masters

#UVAMGolf junior Derek Bard is one of just two U.S. amateurs in the field for this year’s Masters, which begins next Thursday. Bard earned that spot by finishing as runner-up at last year’s U.S. Amateur Championship. Before heading to Augusta, Bard chatted with members of the local media yesterday including Newsplex’s Damon Dillman.
