EARLYSVILLE, Va.-The No. 3 Virginia rowing team swept five races against ACC rival Duke Saturday morning (April 9) on the Rivanna Reservoir in Earlysville, Va.

“Our crews raced well today, even some challenging conditions later in the schedule,” UVA head rowing coach Kevin Sauer said. “I really appreciate Duke coming up to race and being flexible with the very early start time.”

Three Virginia crews (7:28.0, 7:34.0 and 7:41.0) placed ahead of Duke (7:58.0) in the Second Varsity Four race to open the action, while the UVA Varsity Four finished first, 7:29.1-7:32.1.
