Wednesday Softball Game With George Mason Cancelled

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Wednesday afternoon’s softball game between Virginia (18-30) and George Mason (22-20) has been cancelled due to expected inclement weather in the area. The game was set for a 5 p.m. first pitch.

There will be no makeup game scheduled between the two teams.

Virginia will return to action this weekend, closing out ACC play on the road at Virginia Tech. The series is scheduled for a Saturday doubleheader that begins at noon and a Sunday finale with a 1 p.m. first pitch.
