#BoysOfSummer

A couple of news items today about former #UVABase standouts. First, congratulations to Josh Sborz who was named the Class-A California League Pitcher of the Week after allowing a combined four hits and one run in a pair of starts this week.

Also congratulations to the three members of the 2016 draft class (Matt Thaiss, Connor Jones, Daniel Pinero) who have now all officially signed with the organizations who drafted them and are about to begin their professional careers. Jones made it official with the Cardinals on Monday while Pinero signed with the Tigers and Jones the Angels.
