CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Rising juniors Allison Davis (Oak Hill, Va.) and Danni Ingraham (Laguna Nigel, Calif.) earned recognition with Virginia Sports Information Directors’ (VaSID) honors, the organization announced with the release of its annual teams on Thursday (June 23).

Davis earned second-team honors as an outfielder, while Ingraham earned recognition on the second team at first base.

An All-ACC second-team selection this season, Davis hit .293 on the year but stepped up her game in conference play with a .357 batting average. She was third on the team in runs scored with 24, and tallied nine doubles, a triple and four home runs. Davis turned in 20 RBI and was 9-for-13 on steal attempts. Davis turned in one of her best all-around outings in a doubleheader with Liberty, picking up a win in relief in game two, while hitting a home run and driving in three RBI.

Ingraham was one of the top power hitters on the team, tying for the team lead with seven home runs as a sophomore. She added six doubles and totaled 20 RBI, while scoring 18 runs on the season. Ingraham turned in one of her best performances in the series at Georgia Tech, belting out home runs in both games of a doubleheader to help the Cavaliers secure the series win over the Yellow Jackets. She went 4-for-7 in the twin bill with four runs scored and three RBI.
