A pair of #UVAMTEN players, rising senior Thai-Son Kwiatkowski and rising junior Henrik Wiersholm, are among four collegiate players selected by the USTA for a prestigious opportunity. During this week’s Davis Cup quarterfinal between the United States and Croatia near Portland, Ore., the four collegiate players in the nation are working alongside the pros. The USTA is hosting a training camp for members of the collegiate national team to assist and support the Davis Cup squad during the tie, giving the athletes a chance to learn from and practice with some of the best players and coaches in the country. Congratulations to former #UVAMBB standout and former Boston Celtic Junior Burrough who has just been named the head boy’s basketball coach at Norfolk Collegiate. Burrough has recently has spent his time as a NBA and college sports analyst for ESPN, ABC and CBS affiliate stations in D.C. as well as coaching youth teams in D.C.

Congratulations to incoming first-year #UVAFH midfielder Collen Norair who was just named by her local newspaper in Fredericksburg (VA) as the Free Lance Star All-Area Player of the Year for field hockey. Norair helped lead Fredericksburg Academy to four VISAA Division II state titles.
