Virginia to Play Fall Exhibition Oct. 1 at Liberty

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. ââ’¬” The Virginia baseball team will play a fall exhibition game at Liberty on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Liberty Baseball Stadium in Lynchburg. Game time is noon, and admission is free.

Per NCAA regulations, the fall exhibition game will count toward UVA’s 56-game regular season for the 2017 season, but the outcome of the game will not count toward the Cavaliers” win-loss record. Virginia will play 55 regular-season games in the spring.

UVA’s full fall schedule, including the schedule for the Orange & Blue World Series, will be released in the coming days.
