#UVASD and U.S. Olympic gold and bronze medalist Leah Smith visited the White House on Thursday. Smith and the other members of Team USA were invited to meet the President and First Lady and be honored for representing the United States at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Congratulations to #UVAMTennis head coach Brian Boland who was inducted into the Indiana State University Hall of Fame last night. Boland was a men’s tennis student-athlete from 1991-95 and later served as head coach of the program from 1997-2001. He was named the Missouri Valley Conference Coach Of the Year four times in 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2001. His teams earned the MVC Championship three times from 1999 through 2001 when the Sycamores also made NCAA Tournament appearances in each of those years. He was named the ITA Region V Coach Of The Year in 2000.
