Congratulations to former #UVAWBB All-American Monica Wright who has been elected as the Secretary-Treasurer for the WNBA Players Union. Wright spent six seasons playing for Minnesota before being traded to the Seattle Storm for the 2016 season, where she plays for head coach Jenny Boucek, another former UVA standout.

On the morning of the final presidential candidate debate of the 2016 election, we share this tweet from the after the last debate by former #UVAFB standout and current New England Patriot Chris Long. Ken Bone, one of the attendees of the town-hall style October 9th debate, became an overnight internet sensation, especially on Twitter, after the Illinois native and his red sweater charmed America. Time Magazine delved into the six celebrities that Bone deemed worthy of following on Twitter, with the likes of Neil Patrick Harris, Anna Kendrick, Arianna Grande and Patton Oswalt making the cut and of course @JOEL9ONE.
