Alpharetta, Ga. – Virginia senior Jimmy Stanger (Tampa, Fla.) continues to lead the field after 36 holes of play at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate. Stanger shot 4-under 68 on Saturday for a two-day total of 9-under 135. Oklahoma’s Max McGreevy is two strokes behind Stanger on the leaderboard.

Virginia shot 1-under 287 and moved up to a tie for second place entering Sunday’s final round. The Cavaliers share second place with Texas A&M at even par 576. Oklahoma occupies first place at 574.

UVA’s Danny Walker (Bradenton, Fla.) and freshman Luke Schaap both shot even-par 72 during the second round and are tied for 29th place. Sophomore Thomas Walsh is in 56th place at 150 and Derek Bard is 70th at 153.
