CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia field hockey fourth-years Caleigh Foust (Bryn Mawr, Pa.) and Lucy Hyams (Whitstable, England) were among the athletes named to the 2016 Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Senior Game roster that was announced on Monday (Oct. 31) for the contest being held on Saturday, November 19 at 2:30 p.m. at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va..
An NFHCA committee selected the 38 participants and 12 alternates for the game. Schools are allowed up to two participants in the Senior Game.
Foust has been a significant contributor to the Cavaliers’ attack the past four years with 39 career goals and seven assists. She is a three-time All-ACC Academic Team honoree, earning All-Region, All-ACC and All-ACC Tournament Team honors her sophomore season, a year in which she scored three game-winning overtime goals.
Hyams currently ranks in the top-10 in program history with 33 career assists and is on the verge of reaching the 100 career points threshold.
