CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia (0-2) wrestling team hosts its first meets at home on Sunday (Nov. 20) welcoming Lock Haven and Maryland to Memorial Gymnasium for a tri-meet that begins at 11 a.m.

The first match of the day pits Lock Haven (0-0) against Maryland (0-0) at 11 a.m. The Cavaliers will then face Lock Haven at 1 p.m. before closing the day against Maryland at 3 p.m. It is the first dual meets of the season for both the Bald Eagles and Terrapins, while Virginia is coming off road meets at No. 11 Michigan and No. 17 Central Michigan last weekend.

Admission to all matches is free to the public. Due to a busy day of athletic events on campus, fans are encouraged to arrive early and take advantage of free parking at the Emmett/Ivy Parking Garage and the Culbreth Parking Garage.

Cavaliers In The Rankings (InterMat)
Virginia has a pair of wrestlers ranked in the latest edition of the InterMat rankings with redshirt senior George DiCamillo (Highland Heights, Ohio) and freshman Jack Mueller (Dallas, Texas) representing the Cavaliers.

DiCamillo is undefeated on the season after posting wins over No. 15 Brock Zacherl of Clarion at the NWCA All-Star Classic and picking up wins against Michigan and Central Michigan. Mueller stormed through the field at the Clarion Open to claim the championship in the opening weekend before defeating No. 20 Austin Assad of Michigan and also winning his bout against Brent Fleetwood at Central Michigan last weekend.

Up Next For The Cavaliers
Virginia will send wrestlers on the road next weekend to compete at the Mat Town Open in Lock Haven, Pa. on Sunday (Nov. 27). The Cavaliers will then continue to wrestle on the road, traveling for dual meets at Gardner-Webb (Dec. 2) and at No. 24 Chattanooga (Dec. 4).
