CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Season tickets for the 2017 Virginia men’s and women’s lacrosse seasons are now on sale. Virginia lacrosse season tickets may be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com, by phone at (800) 542-8821 or in-person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Virginia men’s lacrosse team will host seven home games during the 2016 season, including matchups with Notre Dame and North Carolina. The UVA women’s lacrosse team’s schedule features 10 home games, including contests against Princeton, Notre Dame, Duke and Maryland.

The dates, times, and broadcast selections for the Virginia men’s and women’s lacrosse team’s schedules will be released and posted to VirginiaSports.com once they are determined by the Atlantic Coast Conference and its television partners.

Season Ticket Information
A men’s lacrosse reserved season ticket is $50. Reserved seat tickets include the blue chairback seats and bleacher seats in Section 3 in the grandstand at KlÃÆ’¶ckner Stadium. All blue chairback seats were sold out in 2016 as season tickets and are available for renewal only. However, fans may request to be placed on the waiting list for blue chairback season tickets. Reserved seat tickets are available in Section 3 and seat assignments will be assigned at the time of purchase.

A men’s lacrosse general admission season ticket is $30 for adults and $20 for youth, seniors and UVA faculty and staff. General admission seating for men’s lacrosse is available in grandstand sections 1, 2, 4, and 5 and on the grass hillside.

Women’s lacrosse reserved season tickets in the blue chairback seats are $30. Women’s lacrosse general admission season tickets are $25, $20 for youth, seniors, and UVA faculty and staff. General admission seating for women’s lacrosse is available in the grandstand bleacher seats and on the grass hillside.

Fans may renew their 2017 season tickets online by logging into their individual ticket account at VirginiaSports.com/tickets. The priority ordering deadline is Friday, Jan. 6. Fans may purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. for in-person or telephone purchases. Telephone purchases can be made by calling 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821) or locally at 434-924-UVA1 (8821).

Men’s Lacrosse Team Information
The 2017 Virginia men’s lacrosse season will be the inaugural campaign under the direction of Lars Tiffany, the 17th head coach in UVA men’s lacrosse history. Tiffany inherits two All-Americans from 2016, Zed Williams (Irving, N.Y.) and Michael Howard (Richmond, Va.)­. Williams led UVA’s midfield with 22 goals and finished with 27 points. He was one of the nation’s most versatile midfielders in 2016, finishing second on the team and fifth in the ACC with 3.60 ground balls per game. Howard ranked first on the team and fourth in the ACC with 3.80 ground balls per game. UVA’s leading returning scorer is attackman Ryan Lukacovic (Syosset, N.Y., – 20 goals, 16 assists).

Women’s Lacrosse Team Information
The Virginia women’s lacrosse team is coming off an NCAA first round appearance in 2016. UVA returns IWLCA All-South Region honoree Maggie Preas (Rockville, Md.), who caused 16 turnovers and collected 35 draw controls and 23 ground balls en route to second-team All-ACC honors. Also returning is Posey Valis (Baltimore, Md.), who tied for the team lead with 41 points in 2016, which was a result of 35 goals and six assists. UVA also returns Kasey Behr (Northport, N.Y.), who led UVA with 38 points and tied Valis for the team lead with 41 points. Behr earned second-team All-ACC honors and second-team IWLCA All-South Region accolades.
