CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia wrestling team (2-2) continues to wrestle on the road this weekend, traveling to compete in a pair of dual matches at Gardner-Webb and No. 25 Chattanooga.

Virginia will kick off the weekend against the Bulldogs of Gardner-Webb at 7 p.m. on Friday (Dec. 2) before facing nationally-ranked Chattanooga at 1 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 4). Live stats and video will be linked at VirginiaSports.com if available for the match.

Cavaliers In The Rankings (InterMat)
The Cavaliers have three wrestlers ranked in the latest edition of the InterMat wrestling rankings, with freshman Jack Mueller (Dallas, Texas), senior George DiCamillo (Highland Heights, Ohio) and junior Andrew Atkinson (Lynchburg, Va.) all appearing in the polls.

Last Dual For Virginia
In the last dual competition, the Cavaliers hosted Lock Haven and Maryland at Memorial Gym in a tri-meet on Sunday, Nov. 20. Virginia started the day strong with a 24-16 win over the Bald Eagles before closing the day with a 22-13 win over Maryland.

Up Next For Virginia
Virginia will return to action on Wednesday, Dec. 21, when the Cavaliers participate in a neutral-site dual match against George Mason. The Rumble On The River will be hosted at St. Christopher’s School in Richmond and the match between the in-state rivals is set for 7:30 p.m.
