Friday evening’s meet will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra. Live results will be available at VirginiaSports.com.

Virginia’s women (4-0) are ranked fifth in the latest College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) national poll, while UVA’s men (3-1) are No. 13. Duke’s women are tabbed No. 22, while both of North Carolina’s teams are receiving votes in the poll.

Last time out, Virginia swept in-state rival Virginia Tech Jan. 13-14 at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Charlottesville. Senior Leah Smith (Pittsburgh, Pa.) was named ACC Female Swimmer of the Week after winning three individual events, while freshman Sydney Dusel (Naperville, Ill.) broke the school record in women’s 1-meter diving.

Both Duke programs have a 5-1 dual-meet record after defeating South Carolina last weekend. Both UNC teams earned their first wins of the season (1-3) after taking down Navy in Annapolis, Md.

Next up, the Cavaliers close out the dual-meet portion of their season at NC State on Jan. 28 at 4 p.m.
