Hall of Fame ‘Hoo

Congratulations to former Cavalier and current #UVAMBB assistant coach Jason Williford who was inducted into the John Marshall High School sports hall of fame on Friday night. Williford was also an assistant coach at his high school alma mater from 1999 to 2000 after retiring from playing professional basketball. During his playing days at UVA, the Cavaliers won the NIT in 1992 and participated in the NCAA Tournament three times. Virginia reached the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 in 1993, the second round in 1994 and the Elite Eight in 1995 when he was a team captain.
