CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Cavaliers’ wrestling team goes back on the road this weekend as No. 24 Virginia (8-5, 0-2 ACC) travels to face No. 25 North Carolina (6-5, 1-2 ACC) and Duke (4-6, 0-2) in a pair of ACC contests.

The Cavaliers will face the Tar Heels at 7 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 4) before facing off against the Blue Devils at 2 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 5). Fans can follow updates through the official Twitter account of the Cavaliers at @UVAWrestling. Sunday’s dual at Duke will also be broadcast via the ACC Network Extra and linked at VirginiaSports.com.

Saturday’s dual at North Carolina will be held at Northwood High School due to a water emergency in Orange County. Northwood High School is located at 310 Northwood High School Rd, Pittsboro, N.C., 27312.

North Carolina is coming off a win over then nationally-ranked Pittsburgh, while Duke is coming off a win over Gardner-Webb.

Cavaliers In The NCAA Statistical Rankings
A freshman Cavalier found himself in the top 10 nationally in the second release of the NCAA Statistical Rankings this week. Jack Mueller topped the national statistics for tech falls entering the week, holding nine to date in 33:47.

Up Next For Virginia
The Cavaliers return home to close out ACC competition against the Pitt Panthers at 1 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 12). It will be Senior Day at Memorial Gym with Virginia honoring several members of the squad as they wrestler in their last contest at home. Admission to all Virginia wrestling matches is free of charge.
