In addition, senior Henry Wynne (Westport, Conn.) will compete in the prestigious Wanamaker Mile at the Millrose Games in New York on Saturday night at The Armory. Virginia will be competing against student-athletes from Charleston Southern, Charlotte, Duke, East Carolina, Elon, James Madison, North Carolina A&T, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and host Liberty.

The Cavalier men are ranked No. 4 in the latest U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national rankings, the highest-ever mark in program history. UVA’s men are also tied for fifth in the FloTrack national poll.

Last weekend at the Scarlett and White Meet in Boston, senior Cleo Boyd (Kingston, Ontario) broke the school record in the women’s 3,000 meters, while fellow senior Zach Herriott (Kansas City, Mo.) broke the UVA mark in the men’s 5,000 meters. Freshman Jordan Scott (Portmore, Jamaica) set a program freshman record in the men’s triple jump. For their efforts, Herriott and Scott were named ACC Track and Field Performers of the Week.

Next up, a select group of Cavaliers will compete at the UCS Invitational Feb. 18 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
