INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Virginia completed day two of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday (March 23) at the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis, Ind.

Austin Quinn (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) represented the Cavaliers in the individual swimming competition, racing in the 200-yard individual medley. Quinn touched for seventh in his heat with a time of 1:45.66, finishing 34th overall.

Competing in both relay events, UVA opened the day with Matt Lockman (Charlottesville, Va.), John Whiteside (Fairfield, Conn.), Bryce Keblish (Fairfield, Conn.) and Luke Georgiadis (Jacksonville, Fla.), respectively, clocking a 1:19.06 for 22nd in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

In the 400-yard medley relay, Joe Clark (Worcester Park, Great Britain), Alex Albracht (Mission Hills, Kan.), Keblish and Whiteside, respectively, took 25th with a 3:09.24.

Bryce Shelton (Vienna, Va.) concluded the day in the 1-meter diving. He tallied a 265.75 through six-rounds, ranking him 41st overall.

Tomorrow’s competition will see the 400-yard individual medley, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard medley relay and the 3-meter diving. Prelims are set to begin at 10 a.m., with finals starting at 6 p.m.
