Charlottesville, Va. – The Virginia women’s golf team wraps up its regular season this weekend when the Cavaliers compete at the 20th annual Bryan National Collegiate held on the Champions Course at Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center. The 54-hole tournament is scheduled to run Friday, March 31 through Sunday, April 2.

The tournament is UVa’s final regular season event before the ACC Championships, set for April 13-15.

The 18-team field includes Alabama, Baylor, Col. of Charleston, Colorado State, Georgetown, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, UCF, UNCG, Wake Forest,

Virginia has won the tournament in three of the past four years (2013, 2015 and 2016). Last season the Cavaliers were six strokes better than runner-up South Carolina.

Virginia’s lineup for this year’s tournament includes senior Lauren Diaz-Yi (Thousand Oaks, Calif.), junior Maho Hayakawa (Lake Mary, Fla.), sophomores Morgan Gonzales (Chandler, Ariz.) and Anna Redding (Concord, N.C.) and freshman Julia Ford (Shrewsbury, Mass.). Sophomore Katharine Patrick (Houston, Texas) will compete as an individual.

The Cavaliers are paired with Baylor and South Carolina during the opening round. They will tee off starting at 9:15 a.m. from the first tee.
