Redding Selected for NCAA Women's Golf Championships

Charlottesville, Va. – Virginia sophomore Anna Redding (Concord, N.C.) has been selected to compete as an individual at the 2017 NCAA Women’s Golf Championships. Redding is the No. 6 seeded player at the Athens, Ga., regional site.
The NCAA regional is set for May 8-10 at the University of Georgia Golf Course. The top-six teams from the regional and the low three individuals who are not members of those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, which will be contested on May 19-24 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Hills, Ill., outside Chicago.
Redding leads UVA this season with a 74.63 stroke average.
Last season Redding finished 53rd at the NCAA Championships and helped the Cavaliers advance to the match play portion of the event. She shot 7-over 295 for 72 holes at the Eugene (Ore.) Country Club.
