Hoos Helping Hoos
Former #UVAMSOC standouts EricBird and Todd Wharton combined for the game-winning goal in Rio Grande VallyFC’s 1-0 win over the Swope Park Rangers on Saturday night. Wharton was on thereceiving end of a Bird pass in the 18th minute. The goal for Wharton was the first of hisprofessional career. You can watch the goal here.
