Haircut Heard ‘Round the Twitter World
#UVAMBB standout Kyle Guy shocked the Twitterverse yesterday when he revealed a new look. The guard, known for his “man bun” debuted a new buzzcut. Not only did he get the likes and retweets of support, multiple blogs and writers took to the internet to cover this story, including traditional print media such as The Daily Progress.

It’s been a big week for members of #UVABase, with five players (and counting) taken in the #MLBDraft. Pavin Smith and Adam Haseley were selected with back-to-back picks in the first round, the first time since 1988 that position players from the same college team were chosen among the top 10 picks of the Major League Baseball Draft, writes Andrew Ramspacher. Closer Tommy Doyle and short stop Ernie Clement were also selected in the first four rounds of the draft, but, as Ramspacher points out, both could be changing roles the next time they hit the diamond.
