On Thursday, #UVAWBB joined Area 3 Special Olympics at its Spring Athletes Celebration. The Special Olympians and lady hoopsters spent a fun afternoon together that included an ice cream social and water balloon toss.

Former #UVABASE teammates Kyle Crockett and Chris Taylor were reunited at Progressive Field in Cleveland this week, but on opposite sides of the field with Taylor’s Dodgers in town to face Crockett’s Indians. Crockett, who was recalled to Cleveland on June 7th, came on to pitch in the seventh inning, but did not face Taylor. Taylor, playing left field and short and batting in the leadoff slot, went 2-for-4 with home run, but LA fell12-5 to the Indians.
